Abergavenny

Because of Covid restrictions the numbers who can attend our Meeting for Worship in person are very limited. Please contact Debbie Clarke, on her smquakers.org address or contact us via the form below to book a place to attend Meeting for Worship (please join the zoom meeting if possible).

Abergavenny Friends are also holding a Meeting for Worship by Zoom every Sunday morning from 10.30 to 11.30, with a chance for notices and a catch up afterwards. The Zoom room is open from 10.15 to welcome people and sort out any technical issues.

For further information and a link to join please contact Kate Evans, on her smquakers.org address or contact us via the form below.

We also meet on Friday mornings from 11am – 11.45. We choose not to rely on technology but to sit in silent worship in our own homes at the same time upholding each other.

For many of us this is a very spiritual occasion and a great point of comfort in this bewildering time. The meeting has drawn Friends from other Meetings via word of mouth and Facebook.

For more information please look at Abergavenny Quakers Facebook page (search in FaceBook for ‘Abergavenny Quakers’)  or contact Hilary Beynon by phone or through Contact Us in the menu above.

We invite you to find a quiet place in your home on Sundays and join us in a far-flung meeting for an hour.  We shall continue to observe this practice until it becomes safe to meet up again in person, but we hope and expect that the nature of a gathered meeting will not be limited by walls.

You can find online Quaker worship every Friday at 13.00: bit.ly/quakerworship
