Meeting for Worship, each Sunday other than the Third Sunday, Llandrindod Meeting House, 11am. Third Sunday at the Pales at 3 p.m.

25 February Meeting for Worship at 11 a.m., followed by Shared Lunch and Discussion Meeting. Deanna Owen from Bridgend will speak on Community projects in Zambia, tackling issues of poverty and unemployment.

10 March Area Meeting at the Pales. Meeting begins at 11 a.m. Help with coffee, catering etc needed. Please liaise with Carole Chapman.

13 March 6-8 p.m. National Federation of Women’s Institutes invites you to attend a panel discussion on Food Poverty. At National Assembly for Wales.

16 March 3 p.m. Harold Hughes’ cremation service will be held at Hereford Crematorium.

17 March 2 p.m. Memorial Meeting to give thanks for the life of Harold Hughes at Llandrindod Meeting House.

18 March 10.30 Trustees’ Meeting at Llandrindod Meeting House followed by shared lunch at 1p.m. which Llandrindod Friends are invited to join. MfW at the Pales as usual at 3 p.m.

25 March Following MfW at 11 a.m. there will be a Shared Lunch and Discussion Meeting. Topic: Quaker, Faith and Practice Revision and Holding in the Light.

28 March 7.30 p.m. St David’s Uniting Church, Gelliwastad Road, Pontypridd. Free Public Lecture by world renowned Biblical scholar, Dr Meg Warner.’I will give you all this land’ – Justice, the Biblical Land Debate and the Current Refugee Crisis. All views, faiths, people welcome.

11 April 7.30-9.00 p.m. The Business Plan for Peace – Building a world without war. Dr Scilla Elworthy at Hereford Meeting House

21 April 10.30 a.m.-4.30 p.m. Hereford Meeting House. Peace building in our Quaker Community. Rhiannon Grant (Woodbrooke)

22 April Following MfW at 11 a.m. there will be a Shared Lunch and Discussion Meeting. Topic: Dispute Resolution.

24 April Poetry at the Pales 11.30 – 13.00 Workshop on the theme ‘ Special Places’ for those who wish to try some creative writing; 13.00-14.00 Lunch – bring and share; 14.00 – 15.30 Poetry reading on the theme ‘Special Places’. • This is a free event but registration requested.
